In the last couple of days I have had many problems setting up my capture settings.
All was well when I finally stopped bad audio sync troubles. Then, I noticed that on dark areas of the cap there is darker patches.

As you can see on the man's jacket. Would this be something to do with colour/contrast as it's only just started to happen since I installed Btwincap drivers for my card. I am using VirtualVCR to capture.

It'd help if you said what format you were capturing to and what your settings are...
Also, check out lordsmurf's site: www.digitalfaq.coom - he's big on capturing and capture cards etc.
There's also Capmaster - maybe PM him and point him to this thread...

Sure thing.
I'm capturing at 720x576 Res with Picvideo MJPEG at 19 qty.
Then using to VDub to crop noise of edges and de-interlacing/resizing to 640x480.
DivX at 1300K
