if I play a AVI in my Philips DVP 642 and then turn it off, and then turn it on again how can I have the DVD player to continue from where I left off?

If you press stop, you can hit play and it will play from where you left off,but this will only work for about 20mins i think,but if you power off, it will not remember where you left off.

hit display button then hit,,,lets say 00:52:34 and it will take you there,,,but that is why i am having audio trouble sometimes
