I may have been a newbie at one time, but I never asked what was the best something? I tried things and made my own decisions.

I saw a couple yesterday. Didn't last through the first day. Newbies are newbies, as we both were once (and in some areas, I still am). I think the bigger problem is some of the posters with '03 join dates doing the exact same thing!

I actually spent quite a few hours the other day cleaning up that thread with the help of lordsmurf, resizing images, etc etc, in order to make it such the pleasant, eye-catching montage that you see before you.

Try ignoring the thread if it bothers you so much, because they're not going to stop. Or start your own message forum and set your own rules for who can join so you can be sure you have only experienced members.....

I don't mind answering newbie questions...BUT...when the newbie is so ******* retarded that they can't understand simple instructions....LIKE our boy trying to install a new video card ....... I can't help but to flame them.

I don't ignore the threads because they become entertainment for me.

My personal favorite is when someone has a problem, they ask the question, people answer and the noob instantly says "no that's not it".

Granted, a lot of the newbie questions are easily answered by searching, or reading a guide. No big deal. The only ones who really need flamed are the ones like you're talking about.

There are some...the self appointed mods....that believe every noob question should be stricken, every downloaded file is warez, and every time they're wrong the thread should be locked. Not that I'm talking about anyone specifically....
