Hello!
I just used ImToo DVD Ripper to ripp a DVD and convert it to SVCD. And I hardencoded the swedish subs into the resulting SVCD. But the result was less then satisfactory. There where some fuzzy artifacts sorrounding the subs and basícally destroyed a good picture quality. Here is a picture that shows what I mean:

is there a way to fix this in ImToo DVD ripper??
If not then I have to use another tool because when using TMPEnc to convert for instance AVi to SVCD with .srt subs I get perfect Subtitles without artifacts when encoded in by Direct VobSub. The point of encoding to SVCD from DVD rather then a DivX was to get great picture quality but the subtitles messes things up otherwise ImToo DVD Ripper would have been a great and easy tool to use!!.
But since this problem exists I have to use another method to get the subs in!. I am planing on using ImToo to convert to DivX instead of SVCD without the subs and then ripp the subtitles separatly using a different program and I want them converted to .srt subs!
So that I then can use it together with TMPGenc and convert the DivX to SVCD with permanent subs!.
So which tool should I use to ripp just the subtitles from the DVD and then convert them to .srt ones??
