I'm experiencing problems capturing home vhs tapes with my ati aiw card,
and I believe this is due to errors in the video that are interpreted as macrovision by the ati theatre chipset.
I've learned in this forum that a tbc will correct the problem, and my question is if the tbc for a pc (a pci card) will be ok or if i have to buy the standalone one?
I've searched the internet and found the tbc 100 (pci card) and the 1000 (standalone). Wich one is best for what I need? (Taking in account the price diference, of course).
I'll thank all of you in advance.

The TBC-100 and TBC-1000 are supposedly the same in operation. I would suggest a standalone unit, however. Can be used anywhere, moved around, etc. Not bound to PC only.

I thank you very much, LS, I'll get the standalone if it's not much more expensive.
Happy new year, LS, and all of you that made this forum and this website so fantastic.
Blackus.
