    Hello

I haven't tried but I think I remember reading that DOS games either do not work at all or are "tricky" to get working under Windows XP (I have XP Home SP2 right now).

I was doing some "cleaning" and I found some old DOS games I would like to try again to relive that lost youth of mine

So what do I need to know?

You may want to right click on the executables and take a look at the compatibility settings in XP.

IMHO, dos programs work only with Win XP Professional.

DOS games on XP suck, DosBox is shakey at best if your playing very high end dos games. (For example Ecstatica runs like butt under it)

Your better off finding an old machine getting a KVM and building a real DOS box.

I used have some DOS games years ago and I don't think these wouldn't work on WinXP.

I think "Future Shock" was one I can remember as a DOS game.

It would work in Win98 and Win2000.

I have a laptop which is WinXP Pro and I am not sure if would work?

In my experience... not happening. I had to use DOSbox just to install QUAKE. Then, I had to download a patch for the .exe just to get it to run under XP.
