  1. I have a nice for all who have DVD/VCD Player that does not support MP3 here is the answer MP2 (Mpeg layer-2)
It works great on my pioneer DV-525. shure the file will be not so small like Mp3 but youŽll get very much music on cd-r

This is a TMPGEnc template that enables 6+ hours of audio on a single XVCD, including a textfile how to use it.

  3. Why does the template make video (picture+sound) i make only system only audio mpeg1 layer-2 VBR

    for example my template
    a mp3 192kbit/s file 3.59min size 5,622,308kB
the same file with your template 7,394,968kB
the same file with my template 6,643,716kB

    couse i use Mpeg-1 LayerII
    Sampling frepuence 44100Hz
    bitrate 224 kbit/sec
    Stream type Mpeg-1 system(VBR)
    system (audio only)

    and it works perfect

no, no, it is not my template. It uses VBR CQ quality=0, that means minimum video bitrate. I guess most dvd players can not play a XVCD without a video file. If your player can handle that, you are lucky. However, nice to know, I will try it. Thank you.

One more question. Do you burn the .mp2 files as VCD or CD-ROM? And which burning software did you use?
