  1. Hey all .... firstly happy new year ....

and now the stoopid question. .....

I have some footage of a football match. I want to be able to show the goal firstly in real time them show it as slow motion/Action replay style.

I use DVDLab, Windows Movie Maker, and MGI videowave III. Is this possible ?

    thanks in advance....

    You could try

    a. the demo of Vegas 5. It has a very cool feature called Velocity Envelopes, which let you ramp the speed up and down as you see fit.

    b. Avisynth and a clever script to creat extra frames to slow things down

Also, the Trial Version of Video Studio can slow video down as well.

  4. This is very easy in WMM2. First, put the clip in the timeline, then copy the section you want to play over and put it in the timeline after the "full-speed" version. Then, under "2. Edit Movie" (on the left) click on "view video effects". Tab down to "slow down half" , right click drag and drop on the section you want slow motion. It will expend that section to 2x so it plays at 1/2 speed. Each time you drag drop the 1/2 speed effect it will again slow it by 1/2. So do it twice if you want very slow 1/4 speed slow motion.
