    I've got a friend who has a Sony DVP-S560D DVD player. My Memorex DVD-Rs are a no go on it. Anyone know if there's a specific brand or type (+/-) of media this player likes???

    Been there and done that, Kevin. But not everyone using the player flocks to that page to eagerly post a comment. I know you are not a NOOB (grin) ... but, while I'm new to DVDs, I didn't just fall off the haywagon. And, I hoped someone who saw the player model (and owns it but may NOT have commented) would have something to say.
