  1. I've been looking at some of the reviews and it seems that the GL-2 barely beats the GS400 in some areas, but not for the extra $1000

    Any opinions?

    GL2 is still best but the extra $1000 is your judgement.

    I haven't taken my GS400 out of the box yet, but as far as the comparisons go, i don't have the extra $1000...

    IMHO, this camera is for the average working Joe that saves his pennies and who loves this hobby..
    Unless you plan on getting investments back on your camera, the GS400 would be my choice...

    Of course, if you've got paid gigs, and use it against your small business, then perhaps the GL2...
    One way or the other, i'm sure a lot more videographers are gonna have a GS400 as emergency backup, when their $4000+ cameras are in trouble...
