I'm making up a compilation on DVD from several VCD's and MPEG1's I have=they are all DVD compliant (all 352x 288 25 fps 1150 bitrate), and I've used VCDEasy to rip the DAT of the disc to .MPEG on my hard drive.
BUT, when I get to the authoring the DVD in TMPGEnc DVD Author (v1.6), I get an error message about a header not being there.
A video sequence header is necessary for every GOP in a standard DVD-The video sequence is incorrect
I can open the file in my MPEG editor, no problem, but the only way I can get the authoring program to take it is to re-encode in TMPGEnc which I don't really want to to do as re-encoding, even at exactly the same bitrate, will introduce some picture degridation.
Anyone any ideas how I can get around/fix this?
