  1. I am building a new computer, and when playing either commercial or home burned DVD's on my computer DVD burner/player, the audio and video are playing something like 2X normal speed (using Microsoft Media Player). I can play them on my standalone DVD player with no issue. Does anyone have an idea of what could be causing this?

    Thanks in Advance,

You could try to turn off hardware acceleration and see if that helps

  5. Thanks for that tip..unfortunately, it is still playing too fast. Acts like playing a 45 rpm record at 78 rpm...both video and audio are running in rapid pace.
