    Hello,

    https://www.videohelp.com/convert

    Look up vcd to dvd.

You won't magically make it look like a pro dvd because you convert it. It won't look any better than the source. And you can get a loss in conversion simply because of the process.

(If you still have the original tapes recapturing in dvd mpeg2 mode will yield better results then reencoding the vcd's. Though it will take time since it will be a realtime capture again - but it will be all set for dvd authoring )
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

  5. No don't re-encode!

    Do this instead:
Extract the MPEG file from your existing VCD's using ISOBuster.

Demultiplex the MPEG's using TMPGEnc's MPEG Tools.

Use those files to create a DVD using DVDAuthorGUI.

This won't give you better quality but it will be faster and preserve the existing quality.

None of this is worthwhile however except if you really hate swapping the CD's.
