I'm using Ulead Video Studio to edit and render, my source files are from a DV camcorder in AVI format. My question is this: Under Project Options I can set the compression for MPEG2 or NTSC/DVD which do I choose and why. The only difference I see when selecting them is in the audio section, MPEG2 uses AudioType->Stereo 4800hz at 224kbps and NTSC/DVD uses AudioType->LCPM. Video rate for both is 6000VBR. I understand that it is best to match the project properties with the content being used but I'm not sure which is best. I get prompted for the same thing when I go to render, is one better then the other?

    Hello,

    ??????

The audio would be ac3/mp2 or LCPM.

LCPM takes up the most space as its uncompressed. To increase video space use ac3/mp2.
