  1. Anyone want to deinterlace this sample video for me? I tried EVERYTHING and I still don't have a video without horizontal lines popping up randomly across the screen. They only appear for a split second.

    Note: Yes, I know there is macroblocking.

    The interlacing is the least of your problems. BTW, what I think you're refering to as "Interlacing" is actually noise or some type of digital artifact. It shows up as a horizontal line for a split second. It is probably from the original capture.

    Use VirtualDub

    Install MSU Deblocking Filter from http://compression.graphicon.ru/video/deblocking/index_en.html

    Load it TWICE from within VirtualDub

    Yes, you'll still have the few glitches, but your Blocking won't look as bad.
