Hey guys, my first post. First let me say how much of a help these forums have been since I got my dvd burner, took me about 3 days of constant reading here to actually learn every aspect of burning a dvd correctly, had no idea it was so involed. But I got it down now... Anyways I have a disc image of Star Wars Ep. II (dual layer) and I have a single layer only burner. Is there any way to cut it down (remove all the extras is ok, just want the movie) so it will fit on a 4.7 GB disc? The movie itself is only like 2 hours so I'm hoping there's some way I can. I searched and haven't found this question but flame away if I missed something. Thanks in advance.

    You'll regret making that statement.
It takes a long time to grasp every concept.
    Good luck.

DVDSHRINK in reauthor mode, I second the suggestion.

  6. go to www.dvdshrink.org and look in the guides section.

There are a number of "shrinkin' " programs out there, but a good freeware tool is dvdshrink.
