  1. there are no patches listed for use with the DVR-108 with Patchburn1.1 (Patchburn 3 is only for Panther, I'm using Jag) could someone tell me which patch to use in the list? there's 4 listings for Pioneer that have garbled text, so i dont even know what they say.

If you don't get an answer here go to http://xlr8yourmac.com and see what solutions are reported there for your drive.

i have 10.2.8 and will not be upgrading this particular machine because there is certain software that will not work with 10.3 (i have 10.3 on my main computer)
i've been to rpc1.org, too, but that link is for flashing the drive with hacked firmware. that's not what i want to do.

    thanks, tho.

If you go -108, you are unfortuantely going to have to
upgrade to Panther to use Patchburn 3. There are no
"patches" available for PB2 to work with the -108,
and I believe the developer doesn't plan on doing any.

    Options at this point are:

    1. Update to panther ( don't go past 10.3.6, 10.3.7 is crap)
    2. Use PB3 and get the -108 to work.

    or
    1. Return the -108 to the store and exchange/pay diff
    and get a -107D .
    2. Continue to use Jag and PB2.
    or
2a. Upgrade to AT LEAST 10.33 and get NATIVE support
    for the -107D.

10.3.7 is not crap for everyone, terry.

    YMMV, obviously.

    your right , muy amigo.
10.3.7 hosed network connections big time at work,
so my mileage ( 36 macs upgraded) varied CONSIDERABLY.

    Bernie,
    did you try here?
    http://www.patchburn.de/Resources/PatchBurn1.1en.sit
The Patchburn site says to use the 1.1b2 for Jag now.
They have stopped making version 2 now in favor of
concentrating on v.3 and OS X Panther.

    I'll see if I still
have the PB2 download before they pulled it.
If so, I'll e-mail you Bernie.
