DVD software review

I have looked long and hard, far and wide, but I just cannot come across to many DVD Backup Software reviews. I did see the one on this site: http://dvd.box.sk/articles8.php but it uses older versions of the programs tested, especially Shrink. In fact the reviewer took a big dump all over Shrink. Personally I didn't think Shrink was bad at all. But I am new to this and the current version of Shrink is all I know and have ever used. So that made me think, would the results to these tests be different given the newer versions out there. Anyone see any sites that have updated reviews or comparisons.
I am trying a trial run at Pinnacle InstantCopy 8, but so far have noticed that it is very slow, and that you cannot split a movie over 2 discs. As I would like for a movie like LOTR Twin Towers, extended version.
