Has anyone had any expeience using 1ClickDVDCopy? I have downloaded the software along with DVD43 and have a couple of questions. Thought I might be able to get some help here.

    Hello,

Use dvdshrink instead. The easiest one to use in my opinion

I made a personal back-up copy of Paul McCartney's Back In the US DVD, using DVD43 and 1ClickDVDCopy. I chose the option of including the Features. It plays the Main Movie just fine. However, the extra feature (which identifies all of the individual songs - or chapters, if you will) is not quite correct. When I click on a song title, the song that it played does not match the song that I selected. Any suggestions?

  6. Strange! Why don't you try DVD Shrink as Yoda suggested and see how it does. If DVD Shrink copies it ok, then it is probably a glitch in 1Click. If Shrink does not copy it properly, then it may be a problem with the original DVD.

Essentially my outlook is the same - anything with "1Click" in its title is usually bound to be subpar IMO.

... and after all, DVDShrink or DVD2One does it for me
    If in doubt, Google it.

Looks like I'm going to try DVD Shrink. I'm not that computer savvy, but sounds like I want to go:
    DVD Encrypter for copyright protection
DVD Shrink for ripping & compression
    Nero for burning

I see that there are a lot of guides on this site. Can you steer me in the direction that will give me the instructions for doing the above.

    Thanks for all the help.

    Hello,

Just click in the guides under "HOW TO" on the left of the screen <----

And actually dvdshrink CAN RIP AND TRANSCODE at at the same time - no need to do decrypter first

Did as you suggested. Used DVD Encrypter and DVD Shrink, but still had some problems. Everything seemed to go OK until I tried burning with DVD Encrypter (I disabled burn with Nero). Within 5 seconds of the burn process, it aborted. I then went through the same routine, but this time enabled burn with Nero. Again, I got all the way to the burn process and it aborted. I then decided not to burn immediately after. I saved all the compressed/transcoded files to my hard drive. Then I launched Nero and burned the DVD with no problem. The chapters were exactly as the original, but for some reason, the playback disk would not highlight the items on the features menu. The main menu had the highlighting effect.

Another problem: I burned the files to a DVD-RW (had enough coasters by now). When I copied the DVD-RW to a DVD-R using Nero, not only were the items from the menus not highlighted, but each time I tried to chose an item, the DVD "froze" and wouldn't play. I don't usually use the Copy Disk to Disk feature of Nero. Is this an inherent problem?
