Holy crap, I totally forgot about that show. I loved "the greatest american hero". I wonder what happened to the actors, are they still in show business?

    Hello,

Remember the "under the water" one with them watching the movie over and over and over again??(the 'little mermaid' deal).

Or how about "andoluvian broadcast company"??? (I think that's what the a was).

I also liked that Sherman Hemsley played the voice of the obnoxious boss (he sure could scream couldn't he??? SINCLAIR! ).

    Kevin

    EDIT - GOTTA LOVE ME

Me too, a geek superhero, what a concept. Robert Culp made the show, though. He was still good in an episode of The Dead Zone last year. He was a recurring guest on Everybody Loves Raymond too.

With modern effects, Greatest American Hero could be a great remake movie if done right.

It is funny that you mention that. Plans have been made to make a movie based on the tv show for a couple of years but it is currently in limbo.

GOD NO! Please - NO MORE MOVIE TV REMAKES!!!

    The HULK Sucked!
    Charlies Angels was PATHETIC!
Anything else is just worthless because it wasn't original or the uniqueness of the original show WASN'T picked up in the movie version.

I liked Dukes Of Hazard TV SHOW but with Jessica Simpson or Britney Spears in it it's going to SUCK BIG TIME!

    Kevin

(It's just like REALITY TV - no talent needed - sequels are WAY better because at least the original usually had SOMETHING fun and unique in it to capitilize on

    I said CAMEO not part

He was a campus security gaurd in the beginning of the movie and walked in front of the camera for about 3 seconds. I remember it from the press talk before the movie was out.

    Hello,

    Any MST3K fans here????

    Remember PUMA MAN???

That was hilarious - it was a disco version rip off of American Hero - and it was english with french directors!

The thing was really goofy and horrible special effects.

The star was a decendent of a "PUMA MAN" who had a belt that would let him fly and walk through walls etc.....

Even Crow said "Believe it or not this movie still SUCKS"

    Kevin

(for those who don't know "BELIEVE IT OR NOT" was the main theme for HERO by Joey Scarbury )

No referring to Greatest American Hero actuall ybeing released on DVD after so long.

Its one of those shows I remember liking, but I'm sure it will suck if I try and watch it again.

We all grow up Flay. I loved it too, but I'm sure it would seem pretty cheesy today.
