Hi,
I want to purchase a good capture card in the $100 range for converting VHS and CamCorder VH8? tapes to DVD. I have a computer that came with Roxio Easy CD and DVD Creator, but it has an S-video in only. I need the analog in.
Can you guys recommend the best card for the buck!
Thanks!

I have had great success with my ATI AIW 9200. It can be found for around $90.00.

Hello,
The older ATI All-in-wonder cards should be in that range - the 8xxx series I believe.
The nice MPEG only Hauppauge cards are over $100 I believe (USD).
Try EBAY and/or the older 64mb ddr ATI cards still sold on some sites.

You can routinely buy ATI All In Wonder (AIW) cards 7000-8000-9000 series off of eBay for $50 or so. Be sure it comes with the PURPLE WIRES.
