    Anyone had any luck backing up Resident Evil 2? Shrink 3.1 & 3.2 just lock up at 14%, DVD decrypter won't read the disk, and AnyDVD/DVDclone won't touch it either. Any suggestions out there?
    Seems to be no encryption, just read errors.

    I used Vobblanker to rip the files onto my HD, worked without a hitch. If you're keeping both the WideScreen and FullScreen versions, you can then use DVDShrink to transcode. I only kept the FS version, and blanked out all the other stuff, so I was left with less than 4gigs ready to burn. HTH.

    I saw that someone else had posted the same question, and towards the end of the replies, someone posted that as a solution. Tried it, and seems to work like a charm.
