  1. Original set of files in VIDEO_TS folder:
    VIDEO_TS.IFO 14.00 KB
    VTS_01_0.IFO 60.00 KB
    VTS_01_1.VOB 1023.99 MB
    VTS_01_2.VOB 1023.99 MB
    VTS_01_3.VOB 777.21 MB
    VTS_02_0.IFO 34.00 KB

When I try and burn in Nero, I get:
Required file 'VIDEO_TS.BUP' is not present
Required file 'VTS_01_0.BUP' is not present
Required file 'VTS_02_0.BUP' is not present
    DVD-Video files compliance test failed

As a fix to this, I made a copy of each of the three ifo files and renamed them to bup so VIDEO_TS folder is now:
    VIDEO_TS.IFO 14.00 KB
    VIDEO_TS.BUP 14.00 KB
    VTS_01_0.IFO 60.00 KB
    VTS_01_0.BUP 60.00 KB
    VTS_01_1.VOB 1023.99 MB
    VTS_01_2.VOB 1023.99 MB
    VTS_01_3.VOB 777.21 MB
    VTS_02_0.IFO 34.00 KB
    VTS_02_0.BUP 34.00 KB

When I try and burn, I then get:
Required file 'VIDEO_TS.VOB' is not present
    DVD-Video files reallocation failed

Was my first fix correct (copy/rename the ifo to bup)? Or should I do something else or use a program to fix this?

What is the fix for "Required file 'VIDEO_TS.VOB' is not present"? Or should I just ignore the error and burn the dvd?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Remove or dispose of (Delete or move to another directory) every file except for the VOBs so you end up with:

    VTS_01_1.VOB 1023.99 MB
    VTS_01_2.VOB 1023.99 MB
    VTS_01_3.VOB 777.21 MB

in a directory on their own (you could even just cut or copy these VOBS to a new directory).

Then follow this guide, then follow this guide.
    If in doubt, Google it.
