  1. I made a VCD from a movie I downloaded in .asf format and converted it to mpg using TMPGnc. I used CDRwin and made another using VCDeasy_v1.0.4 and none of them worked on my stand alone DVD. I have a Panasonic RV65. I also tried it on a Zenith DVD with no success. Is there something I need to add to the VCD proir to burning it so it can play on my DVD. I am really new to authoring my own VCD so please help. Forgot to mention that both discs I burned do work on my computer using Windows Media Player.

Your player probably doesn't support playing CDR. According to the players list here ( http://www.vcdhelp.com/dvdplayers.php ) the RV60 doesn't so perhaps your RV65 doesn't either. Try a CDRW.

  4. HI,
Most of the dvd players can playback vcd.
Try Nero 5.5 burning software can do audio, iso, vcd and Svcd! Yes Nero will install the neede files on your cD-r.
Must work 99,9% ( Unless your dvd doesn´t support vcd but I assume you checked that out???????????)
