Hi i know i have had these problems and i know alot of other ppl have had these problems so i decided that i would share what i have learned with as many ppl as i can.
I use adobe premiere to do all be video editing and i was getting serriously pissed at the 4 gigabite file limit. so i looked around and noticed that some ppl were complaining about the same thing. now my computer was set up win XP on NTFS5 and a backup 20gig on FAT32 (for backwards compatability with win me). the backup drive was where i encoded my files to due to the size of the drive. i have heared a few ppl talking about its a restriction with microsoft avi format BUT.... i did some snooping around and realised that the size that ppl complained about has been getting bigger. win 95 1 gig file limit. win98 2 gig win 98/2 - ME 4 gig so i decided to convert my backup drive to NTFS5 and hey presto no file size limits so i am free to make vids as long as i want without messing around.
so if you havea prob install win2k or xp and convert to NTFS5! Sorted..... hope this will work for everyone.
:O)
