Hello,
I'm pretty sure this is not a problem, but just to be certain.. there is no problem with having different audio tracks with different bitrates on a DVD correct? For example one AC3 w/ 256kbps, another with 224kbps?

Hello,
I believe that should be just fine. If you notice on bonus discs most often the documentaries use a low bitrate like 192 or something. Most often the trailers are higher like 256 unless they are really old and non stereo. So there shouldn't be any problem.
Of course a rule of thumb is to always burn to a rewritable first to test it out

No problems,as long as you put the different audio on separate tracks.
