  1. Hi all..

I have a bunch of quicktime files I wish to encode to mpg so I can watch them on my DVD player. Problem is when I go to TMPGENC and try and batch encode quicktime files I get the message "Illegal steam format".

Am I doing something wrong or is there an easy way to encode many quicktime files to mpg?

    Thanks!

To convert from QuickTime MOV videos you must download the QTReader.vfp and copy it to the TMPGEnc folder.
    If in doubt, Google it.

So if I understand you correctly, you can load your QT file, and if you press the start button to encode immediately, it works fine, but once you add to batch, you get the error ?

I assumed you couldn't even load the file.
    If in doubt, Google it.

Try it out of the wizard (in "manual" mode).
    If in doubt, Google it.
