  1. I just re-installed my Windows ME
Installed Tmpeg 2.01 and divx codec 4.1
But now - when i try to open a divx file in tmpeg - i get
"format not supported".... what the h*** is going on?

Anyone got a solution... really need to convert som
    divx files to svcd!!!

  2. You must install DIVx codec version 3.11 as TMPGEnc doesn't work with version 4.11 of the codec.

  4. I disagree. Divx 4.11 works very nicely with TMPGEnc, but if you didn't install 3.11a previously, you may be missing an audio codec that is required by some Divx-files.

One thing that you might try in TMPGEnc is to give the "DirectShow Multimedia File Reader" a higher priority (under "Option" > "Environmental setting" > "VFAPI plug-in&quot.
