    TMPGEnc Plus cuts and merges of MPEG2 files appear a bit brutish and pixelated at merge-points. Is there another simple MPEG2 editor (free, if possible) that will do a better job on cuts/merges?

    cuttermaran. you must demultiplex the video first though.

    Thanks. I've downloaded Cuttermaran and will give it a try. BTW, shortly after I started this thread, somebody sent me a PM SPAM, offering to sell me cut-rate editing tools. I kept it in my "Savebox" in case you or another Administrator wants to look at it. I assume SPAM via PM is not kosher at VideoHelp.com.
