  1. First off when I first played an SVCD video on Power DVd it looked like the quality was bad(looked like it was loading up the program too much, choppy and grainy looking), so I checked settings and saw that Hardware Acceleration was not Enabled so i enabled it, the quality actually looked way better now(the video was now smooth and power DVD was running smoother also) but one problem is that the position of the video is all off and more the the upper left as shown here...

its even like that in Full screen mode. I tried checking all the settings but no luck. Hopefully someone here can help with this problem.
I had 2 SVCD videos I tried and both were from different rippers so I know its not a bad rip so im not sure whats wrong with it.

ack if the picture above looks all wierded out please Hit Edit so it looks more clearer.... it doesnt seem to display properly compared to when u type it in Edit.

Oh and I tried to play it on WMP8 and it plays the SVCD but it looks somewhat squeezed in from the sides a bit(even with fit on screen mode when i resize it still looks all squeezed in) and Im not sure if its related just wanted to add more details into this.

    My specs:
    OS: Windows XP Pro
    P3 600mhz
    640 SDRAM
    Prophet 3D prophet 4500 64MB

  2. I just turned off Hardware Acceleration and changed settings in Advanced Video propeties 4:3 pan&scan movies.

I changed it to the same res as desktop but the refresh rate was lowered and it seemed to have fixed the problem of video quality without having to Enable Hardware Acceleration. This sucks since I have to always lower down refresh rate to play any SVCD on PDVD and its really annoying to the eyes with lower refresh rate on desktop.

Atleast i figured out how to fix quality without having to enable hardware acc. But I would still like an input into my Hardware Acc problems, I rather have that on than having to lower refresh rate. And that doesnt fix the lagging and loading of PDVD so any input on my Hardware Acceleration prob would still be great.
