  1. Im not to knowlegable with this computer building, this is gonna be my first pc build, i just want to ask if this P4 Cpu is compatible with this Asus mobo, Im pretty sure this mobo is prescott compatible, but i dont know if you can use a northwood p4 on this mobo, any help would be appreciated.

  3. Yes, it should be fine. Asus is an outstanding brand of motherboard - I have never had a problem with them.

    I've had no experience with Intel CPUs, but that one looks pretty nice. I hear that Northwood cores are good overclockers, too.

    i've used 3 of those cpu's but with asus p4p800s mobo's. asus is a good brand and the warranty is great as well as their customer service.
