Hello,
I know there are a few programs out there with "scene detection" features, but I haven't come across one that actually works yet. Anyone have any luck with these? If so, which program?
Thanks

It will do "optical" scene detection -
Many DV editing programs do scene detection from metadata added to the DV tape by the camcorder as you start and stop. If you were to dub say a TV show to your DV cam, the metadata wouldn't be there to breakout the scenes.
Scenalyzer will attempt to detect the scene through image analysis. -
Thanks ed.. should've mentioned this in the first post, but I'm looking for detection for MPEG-2s. I'm assuming there's no way to import an MPEG-2 into Scenalyzer?
