Hi,
I just completed a reformat and fresh install of XP Pro. XP does not see my second HDD. BIOS sees it, but XP doesn’t.
WTF! I’ve had WIN2K on the same box/hardware, plus an XP Upgrade, all of which have seen my second drive.
Any suggestions please???

Have you tried Settings > Control Panel > Adminstrative Tools > Computer Management
Then go down to Storage > Disk Management
...and seeing if it's listed?
You might have to right click it and hit Import Disks. -

Hope that this is helpful.Cole -

I wanted to get that drive back to a ONE partition drive, so I deleted all partitions. I might have deleted the partition of the SECOND HDD without realizing it! But this has NEVER happened before.….
It’s not a total loss as I have a backup of all the data… just, now I have to figure out how to network in XP to get the data back over there (separate computer).
Anyway, as I type I am sure I will have a recognizable second HDD after the format which is occurring right now. I just need to figure out how to network the TWO XP computers so I can get the software backups to the fresh XP box.
Thanks!
