avi to VCD? Not exactly your typical use of VDub. How exactly are you doing it?

I know that VirtualDub can convert MPG to AVI but was unaware it could do the opposite ... AVI to MPG. Could you post the step-by-step procedure you follow?Originally Posted by Kebhe

Check your CPU temp while you're encoding. Also, be sure not to knock your knee against the 'Reset' button on the case... :POriginally Posted by Kebhe -
Insert more fans, add silver thermal paste to the processor, and get a better cpu fanOriginally Posted by Kebhe

AIDA32 will have a tab which will show you your CPU temp. Look under "Sensors" -
from the beginning the converting worked very perfectly, but now it's very strange.
isn't there any other reason than overheating?? -
Faulty or incompatible ram will reset your computer especially if you are pushing your resources to 100% use.
