So lets step back and look at what we are looking at.

Option 1) Shrink/Re-Encode the DVD. Get it on one disc, but lose some quality.

Option 2) Spend $8,000 to have 1,000 dvd's professionally pressed. I believe you said that would end up being $135,000 profit? I'm not business major but that is an incredible amount of profit, so I don't think you should be fretting about the initial cost. Thats how most businesses start, spend a big initial investment and then receive a return on it later.

Option 3) Spend $6,000 LESS by just buying 2,000 DVD's and splitting the material up on 2 DVD's. You could label them Disc 1 and Disc 2. You could even put chapter breaks between them and label what is on what disk on the jewel case. This seems to be obviously the best choice but thats just me.

Option 4) Get a dual layer drive and 9gb discs. I think, however, this would end up giving you more compatibility issues. I'm still partial to #3.

  2. Well I told him about DVD shrink and it worked. We got all 4 hair styles on 1 DVD without any loss in video or audio quality, at least from our eye we couldn't see any but maybe it was because we weren't to much over our limit as far as space I really don't know. I'm just happy that it all worked out and is on 1 DVD!!

Glad you got it sorted ...

... but I must make mention of the fact that at least 3 people mentioned DVDShrink, well before you decided to even consider it, yet you seemed a bit "ignorant" to the fact, so to speak.

Not starting anything, just live and learn
    If in doubt, Google it.
