  1. I have encountered a problem after installing XP over WIN 98 SE.
Capture with vdub worked flawlessly under 98 with very rare frame drops.

Now with XP, 10 % frames drop.

It is the same after installing new XP drivers from pinnacle.
I have read that many users complain about Capturing in WIN XP.
Is this an XP problem ?
    Any idea ?

I'm experiencing the same kind of problems in XP.
In my case frame dropping occurs in bursts:
it happens randomly. Sometimes after 40 secs, another time after 70 secs.
Capturing in Win98SE works normally though.

I've installed all the latest drivers:

    -Detonators 23.11
    -Studio PCTV Rave XP v4.02a
    -VIA 4-in-1 v4.37

Both harddrives run in DMA-mode 4.

Does anyone have a solution to this?
    Asus A7V, Duron 600@600, 256Mb SDRAM PC100, Quantum 30Gb, Maxtor 40Gb (capturing), Aopen 36X CDROM, Asus V3800 Deluxe TNT2 Ultra, Pinnacle Studio Rave, SB128, Realtek 100Mbit NIC, 56K Winmodem.
