Whenever I go to delete something, it doesnt move to the Recycle Bin like it should, it just leaves permanetely. How do I make it so it does go to the Recycle Bin? And when I right-click the Recycle Bin, the option to move it to "NOT move to Recycle Bin" is unchecked. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Right click the recycle bin and uncheck the do not move to recycle bin option.

What size is the file?
If it is over 100 megabytes it usually is too big for the recycle bin in which case it is automatically deleted. -
Does that happen with very large files? If so, that's normal. Above a certain size it won't hold it in the RECYCLER folder. It depends on your bin settings.Oh no, any file. Little Text files, mp3 files, big files, everything."The statement below is True,

I had this happen once, all I did was tick the 'Do no move files to the Recycle Bin', apply it, then untick the option again and apply it. This was enough to reset the values and the bin started working again.
Worth a try if you have not already tried it .. -
Yeah, I tried that and unfortunately that did not work either. But thanks for the advice.

Another thing to check is the permissions on the 'Recycler' directory, they may have become restricted.
'Administrator' and 'System' should have fully access (everything ticked). -
If I get in "My Computer", where is the Recycle Bin directory located? I will check under safe mode, as Administrator.
I dont know why it is doing this all of a sudden, because it used to act normal. Another thing that has been acting weird lately, is how my icons keep changing views (Tiles to Lists, Icons to Details, etc). I dont think its viruses or anything, because I do scans frequently and keep my computer updated."The statement below is True,

Sounds ominous!
The Recycler directory will be hidden, so on an explorer window you will need to select 'Tools' -> 'Folder Options' -> 'View' and click the 'Show hidden files & folders' setting, to see it. -
Okay, I will try that this evening. Thanks.

I'm sorry, I never posted to say how it went. Unfortunately I still have my problem. And already I've accidently permanetly deleted files which I actually needed. One thing I did notice however, is when I delete something from my 2nd hard drive (WHICH HAS NO Operating System installed), it goes to the Recycle Bin, when before it never did before, and it would always just delete permanetely.
