how much faster can it really load this website?

I don't necessarily mean "load faster" as in the time it takes for a webpage to load but in the time it takes for you to do the same amount of surfing is faster. For instance, with the SuperDragAndGo extension. Lets say you go to www.cnn.com and see 4 articles you want to read. If you didn't know about tabs and wanted to read each article, you would probably click on the 1st one, wait for it to load, read it, and then go back to the main page and do the same process for the other 3. With tab browsing and SuperDragAnd Go all you have to do is click, drag, and drop each of the 4 links on the main page and all of them will open in new tabs. Once the 1st one loads, you can read it. Once you get done reading it the other 3 will already be loaded in other tabs, you won't have to go back, reload the main page 3 more times, and then load each of those articles. This is just one way that I use firefox to save me a little surfing time. Granted people with at t1 connection could probably care less but this is a pretty nice alternative for people on dial up (I'm on lowband DSL, which is fast but this makes it that much better).how much faster can it really load this website?

I stayed with Netscape until version 4+, if I remember correctly. At one point, Netscape just got really crappy and buggy, so I switched to IE.
I tried out firefox after reading about it here and I use it almost exclusively. The only time I use IE is when a page has IE exclusive plugins. Other than that, I hardly ever open IE. -
I have just recently installed Firefox, having previously used Netscape, Opera and Mozilla. It looks like a good browser, and anything that stops Microsoft should be supported by all of the computing community!

Hello,
Why???? I use XP at home and at work as well as IE. And if Microsoft didn't make that deal with IBM in the early days then APPLE would have the monopoly these days and all of you people would be griping about how bad and corrupted APPLE is :P :P :POriginally Posted by energy80s

Of Course I use Firefox. I also use K-Meleon, & Netscape/Mozilla. IE should come with toilet paper.
Happy Holidays!
RogThere are many ways to measure success. You just have to find your own yardstick.
