Hi, I was wondering if I had a 650MB mpg and the length was 90 mins, and I was using a 80 min 700mb disc, if I could burn the movie on one disc. Instead of using two. For VCD btw. Or perhaps burn 74 mins and 800mb with a 80 min 700mb disc. Thanks.

Verbatim Data Life Plus 80 min 700 MB (to be exact)

  2. If the MPEG itself is only 650 MB, it will fit on any size disc. You could even burn it as a data disc on a 74 min CD. If you burn in VCD/SVCD (mode2), you can fit up to 740 MB on a 74 min disc. It's data size, not playing time that matters. If it is 90 min. long but only 650 MB, it isn't VCD compliant, however.
