Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knew of a compatibility problem between pinnacle pctv cards and the new windows media center edition 2005. My card is installed properly and works thru pinnacles program, but the Media Center TV fuction does not recognize it.
if wmc does indeed not support it, is there an alternate driver i could install to make it work or any other way around this problem.
thanks

I have that CAP also, but it was time to see the light and get the WinTV PVR-150 with MPEG Hardware Encoder. If you have some cash go and get yourself an upgrade and forget about MPEG software encoding. The results with the hardware encoder really beats the software one hands down!
Go from fuzzy to Sharp deep rich vivid colors!
PVR-150 will work with your OS, but GB-PVR which is free does a great job on PC and your home TV side using Media MVP 1000.
