  1. I've come to the conclusion that vcd's can't be made, using mpeg's with no audio.

  3. Menu's never work. Some vid's are scrambled/zig-zag.
    I use Nero 6.

    You're making XVCDs. VCDs have audio as part of the spec.


    EDIT: It would appear that even XVCDs need audio as part of the spec.

    If using Nero, I suspect that you might have "Make a standard compliant VCD" ticked in the settings and so it is probably beside itself when it can't find an audio stream.

    What is your source for the video ?
    If in doubt, Google it.

  5. Ok. I've got a lot of reading to do. 14 pages!
    But what I've read in the first 2 pages, I won't be able to make XVCD's.(that play on my DVD players)

    Use TMPGEnc + VCDEasy to create VCD. Scrap Nero. (For this purpose, atleast!)
