I recently got a set of Logitech Z-5500 speakers (killer speakers by the way) and hooked them to the on board Soundstorm audio on my nForce 2 motherboard through the coax connector. Everything works fine, except when I try to watch TV through my ATI All-in-Wonder 9800 Pro with the MMC application. If I use the coax connector I get no sound from the TV, but all other sounds are normal. I do get TV audio if I use the analog direct 6 channel audio cable, but obviously I'd rather use the digital input. On the first page of the Soundstorm control panel, under "Input" there is a checkbox labeled "Digitize Input", I've tried it with that both selected and unselected for the Line In connector but it doesn't seem to make a difference. And yes, the AIW audio is coming through the Line In. Also, if I capture some video using the MMC the audio is there when I play back the captured file, or if I put the TV application into "TV on demand" mode (which captures video to the HD then immediately plays it back from there so you can pause or rewind, like a Tivo) I get sound, it just doesn't play in direct, live TV mode. Any ideas what settings I should change to get live audio? Thanks in advance!
