    Which is the best software to convert a dvd movie into my harddrive to a xvid file and subtitle in other file like ssa, for a example?

    Is it possible to do with a easy program and with good quality?

    Yes, Virtual Dub does it fery well, with the Subtitler, ot TextSub filter.

    To convert DVD Subtitles into a text format like ssa you need to OCR them with something like SubRip.

    VirtualDub can be used to encode the video to an XviD avi. What container were you planning on using? XviD is just a video codec.
