  1. I have about 7GB worth of mpg files that I want to burn to DL 8.4GB disc, I am using Pinnacle Studio 9.3 and am not burning directly to disc but creating the content only. I specify 8.4GB disc and it tells me I am 390 Mins over??? what gives, I converted the mpg files from avi using TmpgEnc and specified 1500KB bit rate. I think it is because the KB/sec in the settings for Pinnacle Studio 9.3 only go down to 3000, it will not go down to 1500... I was wondering if I am doing something wrong? I created menus for my files but that should take up but a few mbs at most.

Just have Studio 9 make the VIDEO_TS folder, then use Nero to burn the disc.

  4. 9.3.5 support DL it has option to burn to 4.5 or 8.4 GB discs. I am burning just the TS folder i am not burning to disc, I am creating just the TS content to burn using Nero, but I change it to 8.4GB all my mpg's involved total 7GB, but it a total of 600 somthing mins, Studio then tells me I am 390 mins over!!! It seems like Studio is cacluating in mins rather than by size, I don't get it, I have 7GB worth of mpg files. I have used other crappy dvd authoring tools that can't create advanced menus like Studio and it would have no problem burning it, Like TMPGenc DVD author but that program stinks at creating menus.

    what can I do?
