Hey! All of sudden some of the pages of this forum are too large to read without scrolling horizontally. If this is my problem, how do I fix it?
Did you change something? I didn't change any settings (if there are any). I've never had this problem before.

If it works, don't fix it.

This is caused when people who use a higher resolution than 800x600 create a thread.
It is nothing that is out of the ordinary.
Setting the percentage to 100% does not change a thing. -

If anyone who uses a higher resloution that either creates a post or a new thread, then you have to scroll.
I have to do it all the time. -
DOH!

Not at this moment no, but there are numerous threads where I have to, like your monstrouslylongpostearlierintheposteraboveyouthrea d.

EXACTLY.
It's because of the content in the posts, not the resolution of the OP. I've set up four image tests in the test forum, called Scroll Test 1 through to 4. Try them - you'll see what I mean. The forum autowraps if possible - my post in the poster above you thread had no spaces so everyone's browsers have no option but to put a scroll bar on because they can't word wrap.If in doubt, Google it. -
Just to get back to the OP (this isn't OT, after all
), the only way you can do anything about this is to up your screen resolution because it's the content of one or more posts in the threads in question that causes it, as stiltman has assisted in proving in this thread, and as I have proven in the Test Forum
If in doubt, Google it. -
