I got my first confirmed coaster about ¾ of the way through my first spindle of S04's. It burned OK, but couldn't play/read 'til the end. DVD Shrink spit out a "cyclical redudancy" error and couldn't finish copying it, nor could Alcohol 120%, which can usually read everything but gagged on this one.

I reburned, from the same ISO to a disc from the same spindle, and this one seems OK. I guess one coaster after 30-odd good burns isn't so bad, but still.

Follow-up on this: When I started trying to actually play these discs, they would consistently freeze at the 70-90% mark. At first I thought maybe I got a bad spindle, but when the the second spindle was also bad, I contacted the vendor, http://www.media-n-more.ca/.

He offered to replace them with Ritek (Ridata) 4X printables (G04 code), but from what I've read they might be "iffy."

So then he graciously offered to replace the defective discs for the equivalent amount in Epson R300 OEM compatible cartridges, which I think was quite decent of him, and said he would look into getting good prices on TY and Verbatim hub printables in the future.

I hope he does, and I would be happy to do business with him again and recommend him, because he is a standup guy.
