I don't know if anyone is still adding or reading this topic, but I posted a message yesterday requesting information on how to make a backup copy of a DVD region free.
I had 3 replies in relaion to DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink.
Most felt that Decrypter automatically places the files on my HD region free.

I id a little more research - Now I'm a newbie to all this and not at all techy, so I didn't understand the meaning of RCE.
I've since searched the web and read up on it and basically feel a little more enlightened.

    Question :
If DVD Decrypter reads a disco as : Region 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and RCE Protection reads as NONE
Can I assume that once these files are saved to my HD I can burn, if I so wish, a region free DVD via Shrink/Nero?

    Thanks

Have you tried to already and failed, or did you just ask first ?

... because the answer is yes.
    If in doubt, Google it.
