ok i installed Stream Anywhere for converting *.dat files to *.asf files so that i can 3 movies in one cd - the software was working fine.
Then i formated my pc - reinstall win xp - then the codecs i had - then Stream Anywhere - now it gives the following error while i try to create custom setting for video conversion - 320 * 240 & more
The error message is
NO VIDEO CODECS ARE INSTALLED THAT WORK WITH THIS PRODUCT, THEREFORE VIDEO INPUT OPTIONS HAVE BEEN DISABLED
i tried reinstalling the codec NIMO and the Stream Anywhere software
still it didn't solve the problem.
i used the following setting to convert my files :
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
320 * 240
352 * 240
352 * 288
template -> Edit -> Windows Media..
Click Custom button
Enter Template Name
Select use Single bitrate video
Select Custom (bps) and enter "400 k"
Dont do anything to Resample prior to encode. Click Next
Audio Codex select Windows Media Audio v2
Audio Format 32 kbps, 22 kHz, stereo (for audio/video)
Click on Use video codex and select
Microsoft Mpeg4 video codec V3
Now click on advanced
and select the video size if it is there in the list or click on custom and enetr the values
In Image Quality make it Smoothness.
Click OK
and click finish.
