    hope this is the correct forum for this post....

    Using Power Director 3
    Im putting together a photo & Avi clips dvd from my camera.....I get popping & skipping on playback of the audio accompaniment.....

    any ideas please ?

    Do you get this on simple playback of the file or only after processing the DVD? Describe the problem in more detail.

    First thing to do generally,

    Capture your video file and place edit program buffers on a different partition from windows OS. Better yet on a different drive and EIDE channel from the OS. This keeps Windows from taking disk priority over capture.
