yea - i got ice on the inside of many of my wndows and they are double pane thermal gas filled ... i keep humidity real high in here though (like 35-40%) - kinda nice and steamy ..
only door frozen a bit is the patio door.."Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -

That was also the record-breaking winter that prompted the LP gas folks to use heaters for the tanks
It was so cold, my poor 1974 Chevy Nova (350) would not crank. It had a good battery too. The starter solenoid would slowly engage half the time, but it couldn't turn the flywheel -
oil would freeze at that temp -- antifeeze would also be just slush (or worse) ..
lot of cracked blocks when it gets colder than -40"Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -

batteries also freeze at that temp -- you were lucky it even clicked ...
a not fully charged battery will freeze solid at -25 even if it is in bad shape .."Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -
y'all are nuts!!!
Gonna be 68 today in sunny ft worth TX.
When I lived in Indiana earlier this year some of the contractors were from Canada. Just noticed that they were "paler" than everyone else (actually the hoosiers will pretty white too). -

Hey, you can dress up to keep warm in the cold, you can only get naked to keep cool in the heat. I'll take the cold anyday. Besides I get killer performance from my car in the frigid cold.
However what sucks is we get a wide range of weather here, from awfully humid summers to bitter cold winters. I could do without the humidity in the summer. It would be nice to have some snow this winter though.FB-DIMM are the real cause of global warming -
I was referring to the nuts up nort'. I read and reread my post and have no clue how bazooka could have misinterpretted that.
I think people down south live longer. People down south are generally happier (that they arent shoveling snow). Having lived both north and south, gotta say that northerners just seem like they are in a bad mood most of the time.
Tomorrow it is suppose to get cold, something about mid 60's or something.... -
